But maybe it’s not all so grim, and there is ‘good cholesterol’? Two-thirds of all cholesterol our body needs is produced in the liver. I remind you: cholesterol is an internal building material, like plaster, which is used in any inflammatory processes, in any part of the body, or in any organ. If cells break down, connections between cells are destroyed; in any inflammation, when all this suffers, the body necessarily drives cholesterol there because it’s a repair-building material that helps cells re-structure the cellular structure and hold cells relative to each other.
