If you want to cleanse your intestines, there’s no need to subject yourself to long detoxes, fasting, herbs, juices, or any other extreme methods. In my practice, I’ve seen many cases where people tried to cleanse their intestines, only to end up having to restore their gut flora or deal with issues like gas and bloating.
The intestines are designed to self-cleanse, and all those stories about “fecal stones” are just myths. Any surgeon will confirm that there are no “fecal stones” in the intestines.
So, if you need a cleanse, you can take castor oil no more than once, at a dosage of approximately 1 mL per 2 pounds of body weight. The most important thing for the intestines is to avoid stress that directly impacts them.
